Data policy

The historical Vanagon dictionary remains source-linked and distinguishable from later contributions and machine-assisted translations.

  • The shared Vanagon/Gerry dictionary preserves 95 archived entries in the original Bus terminology and Mailing list slang categories. No term tags appeared in that historical source.
  • A separate collection contains 22 source-cited English parts references with model scope and modern editorial tags. Missing translations return labeled source English.
  • The displayed archive capture was made on December 30, 2007. Source links lead to the preserved Vanagon.com dictionary.
  • English historical text is the source record. Machine-assisted translations are labeled with their language, source locale, and review status.
  • Public exports contain approved dictionary content and source provenance; private moderation records and authentication data are excluded.
  • Gerry search matches are community context, remain owned by Gerry, and do not become dictionary definitions, feed items, or export records.
